The basement houses the kitchen, where breakfast and snacks are prepared. The kitchen does provide lunches or dinners for the guests, but the receptionist can also show guests local restaurant menus and advise them where to go.

Whenever the conference rooms are not rented out, they can be used as a sitting room or assembly point for guests. Guests can relax in the easy chairs surrounding the large fireplace and look at the unusual artwork on the walls.
